Service Area

Our boundary is Piney Orchard, MD. If you live in Odenton outside of Piney Orchard, please contact the International MOMS Club for a chapter in your area.

Dues and Registration Forms

Prospective members are welcome to attend two meetings or playgroups before deciding if they would like to join. Field trips and other group activities are for members only.  Members are required to complete a registration form and pay dues. Dues are $20.00 per year per mom. This money goes toward supplies, activities, and various programs. If the dues would be a hardship for your family, please consult one of the board members. Checks should be made payable to MOMS Club of Piney Orchard.  We need new forms filled out every year. In this packet you will find a blank registration form to be used when you renew. After that, you may contact a board member to request another form. Membership renewal dates are listed in your roster. You will also find a reminder in the newsletter before your membership expires. You may turn your dues and form into any board member.

Sick Policy

Please do not attend activities if you or your child has had any of the following symptoms in the past 24 hours:

·          Pink eye

·          cough, sneezing, runny nose, or sore throat

·          diarrhea

·          unexplained rash, ring worm, or lice

·          vomiting

·          fever over 100`

If any of the above symptoms are related to allergies or teething, you are welcome to attend.

Bad Weather Policy

We use Anne Arundel County Public Schools' Closing Policy for our bad weather cancellations. If schools are two hours late or closed due to inclement weather, we will cancel all activities for the day. If schools are opening one hour late, we will still have any scheduled activities. Please use your best judgment when deciding if it's safe to attend an activity.

Playgroup Reminder

Please bring a few toys to share and your own drinks and snacks (unless otherwise noted in the newsletter). For the safety of our children, please take extra care in making sure that they do not hit or run into the mirrors. This includes throwing toys at the mirrors.

Payment Policy

If you need to make a payment for any reason (field trip, dues, etc.) you may pay any board member or your playgroup chair-mom. If there is no one to take your payment, you can mail a check to the treasurer or call her and make other arrangements.

We request that payments be made by check whenever possible. This eliminates the need to make change, is easier for the treasurer to track, and gives our members record. Please note on the check what the payment is for. The check preferred policy applies to all money that we collect for the club.

Field Trip Prepayment Policy

We require members to pay in advance for some field trips. This only applies to field trips that we pay for as a group. If the trip requires prepayment or a deposit, we will need your money the week before the trip. This gives us time to cancel if we don't have enough attendees. If a field trip requires a nonrefundable deposit, the deposit will not be made until we have collected all the money. In some cases this may occur several weeks prior to the scheduled trip. The club realizes that sometimes emergencies occur and you many not be able to attend even if you have already paid. We will refund your money if we are able to obtain a refund from the field trip location. Otherwise, you may try to find someone to go in your place and make arrangements for them to pay you.
