The International MOMS Club  www.momsclub.org

was started in the fall of 1983 by our founder, Mary—an at-home mom in California. The first chapter was in Simi Valley, CA. Word spread about the wonderful support that the MOMS Club  offers at-home mothers,   and we became a  national   organization in 1985. Now we have more than 1,500 local chapters with more than 75,000  members  across the country, and  more chapters starting  every  month. We are the only international  support group specifically for at-home mothers.

                The MOMS Club of Piney Orchard grew out of the MOMS Club of Odenton   www.momsclubofodenton.com.    In  March 2001, with the Odenton club growing larger  and  more than half of its members residing in Piney Orchard, it was time   to branch out and the MOMS Club of Piney Orchard was founded. Christy, an at-home mom in the community, served as the chapter’s first president.

                The MOMS Club is designed specifically to help at-home mothers meet the challenges of staying at home with   their children. The MOMS Club is a  wonderful way  to  meet  other mothers who share your interests and concerns,  and  to participate in enriching activities for you and your children. We believe that staying at home to raise our children is a fulfilling full-time job. In fact, we think it is the most important job any mother can choose.
